-What is Hot Yoga?

Hot Yoga utilizes vinyasa series with heat in the room with feeling good and taking care being the goal, and looking better the byproduct. Being in shape does not simply mean big muscles and being able to run a few miles. It means your every organ, system and gland is worked and restored to proper health, to the cellular level. In one class you will sweat, smile, work and de-stress and do more for your overall health, spirit and self image than you could imagine. Our Hot Yoga is a perfect combination of the popular of Power and Vinyasa with a heated room for extra detox and body warmth. Miami Yoga's Hot Yoga includes spiritual components of yoga and meditation along with a proper Shavasana (final relaxation time).

-Why is the Room Heated?

The room is intentionally hot. It is heated to warm your muscles, prevent injuries and allow for a deeper release in your body. Sweating will also help flush toxins and poisons from your body.

-What are the Benefits of Hot Yoga?

Hot Yoga will give you everything you need to restore your body to it's healthiest state. Five times per week is ideal. Those who have already experienced profound changes in their body and mind through regular practice of yoga will agree that their progress is directly related to the consistency and regularity of practice. Weight Loss, Circulation, and Range of Motion, Obesity, Insomnia, Addiction, Detoxing, Relaxation, Relive Stress, Anxiety... Hot Yoga helps it all! Try it and see for yourself!

-Hot Yoga vs. Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga and Hot Yoga are similar because they both use heated rooms. Bikram Yoga uses 105 degrees while Hot Yoga at Brickell Hot Yoga utilizes approx 95 degrees. Bikram Yoga uses a sequence of mostly standing poses repeated twice. Brickell Hot Yoga offers a Vinyasa Power Yoga sequence that focuses on a comprehensive approach to all muscle groups including arm strength poses and core muscles.

-What if I'm not Flexible?

A perceived sense of inflexibility is the most common hindrance that prevents people from trying yoga. Yoga, and in particular at Brickell Hot Yoga, is not about how flexible you are; it is about opening your body, quieting the mind, and healing the soul. The more inflexible you are, the more useful yoga is for you. You become flexible by doing yoga.

-What if I've Never Practiced Yoga?

Most of the classes on the schedule are beginner friendly and our instructors will help new students by offering modifications, encouragement and support. You do not need any experience; you do not need to be "in shape"; you just need a willing mind and the desire to change your life forever.
